Kaylie is one of the owners and designers at Studio Aster. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Rhode Island to pursue her education, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University. Since graduating, Kaylie has gained comprehensive experience working on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, cultivating a versatile design approach that accommodates various client preferences and styles.
Two years ago, Kaylie relocated to California, further expanding her exposure to different design aesthetics and reinforcing her commitment to creating thoughtful, client-focused spaces. Her passion for design continues to grow with every project, as she strives to bring each client’s unique vision to life through innovative, tailored design solutions.
Casey is one of the owners and designer at Studio Aster, proudly based in the Bay Area. Born and raised here, she is grateful to build their business in such a vibrant and diverse community.
Casey holds a BFA in Interior Architecture from Sacramento State University, where she was trained in both architecture and interior design. This well-rounded education, combined with hands-on experience, has given her a deep understanding of the design-build process — from initial concept to final construction. She approach’s each project with both creative vision and practical knowledge of how things are built.
A core value she believes in is that great design should be accessible — and that the process should be just as enjoyable as the finished product.
